I thought I would show you the quick Easter card I made the other day. I used the retired stamp called Easter Dove. It will be available at my Open House in June, from my personal retiring stamp sets, for purchase at 50% off the original price.
I started with a Pink Pirouette card base. I then used the Top Note die and cut a Whisper White and Soft Suede piece. I trimmed the Whisper White diecut along the scored line and attached it to the Soft Suede Top Note die. This was then inserted in the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder and run through the Big Shot. I trimmed a portion of the Top Note die off.
I stamped the leaves from the Fabulous Florets stamp set in Pink Pirouette and Soft Suede on a piece of Whisper White card stock. I used a marker to color in the “He is Risen” from the Easter Dove set and added that. This was layered on a piece of Soft Suede card stock. I stamped the butterfly from the Papillon Potpourri stamp set in Soft Suede, along with the small flower from Fabulous Florets, on a piece of scrap Whisper White card stock. I punched the butterfly out with the Bitty Butterfly punch and simply hand cut the flower. I took a sponge dauber and added some Pink Pirouette color to the flower from the stamp pad. Both the butterfly and flower had the Jewel Rhinestones placed on them. I curled up the edges of the flower and butterfly to add a little dimension once I attached everything to the card.
You can also add a little bit of our Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to the butterfly and flower for a little extra bling.
