I love the Hearts Border Punch. Here we used it at the top of this four-paneled folding card.

This is what it looks like when opened flat, even though you don’t display it that way. The Work of Art stamp set is great for background work.

The Stars Framelits are great. Here is a Christmas card my very talented downline, Dawn Durkin, made using these framelits. It’s fabulous in real life. She used Gold Embossing Powder and our Gold Foil for the stars, stamping the sentiment on Vellum.

Bright & Beautiful Silver Card

I can’t believe it’s December, and I’m still trying to figure out what my Christmas cards will look like. I thought I would show you a card I CASE’d off of Pinterest. I changed the color combo. I wanted to use my Silver Foil and Vellum paper, along with the Silver Embossing Powder.

Bright & Beautiful Silver

As usual, my scan doesn’t do the card justice. The silver really sparkles!

Many Merry Stars Simply Created Kit

I’ve been having fun with the Many Merry Stars Simply Created Kit. The stars are beautiful. Check out the following videos that will give you some helpful hints when putting these stars together.

I did find that my stars seemed to stay together better if I took my bone folder and really went over my folds to create a good crease. Also, I did remove the backside of the sticky strips so I had sticky-to-sticky when making the box part of the star.

The following video has some cute ideas if you want to do something differently with your stars.

I used the Many Merry Stars stamp set to add some details to my stars. These sets are available from the Holiday Mini Supplement that you can view at My Website.

Festival of Trees Christmas Card

I’ve been busy working on swaps for a group that I’m in, and I thought you would like to see my contribution. We made a variation of this card at my Christmas class last weekend.

Holiday Swap

I love the coordinating punch with the Festival of Trees stamp set.

  • Start with a card base of Baked Brown Sugar cardstock.
  • The trees are gold and silver embossed on Vellum cardstock I used Mini Glue Dots to attach them to the card.
  • Definitely needed to use some of that great Gold Sequin trim along the edge of the Brushed Silver and Brushed Gold cardstock.
  • The greeting came from the Sassy Salutations stamp set and was also gold embossed.
  • The stars are punched from the Silver and Gold Glimmer paper using the Itty Bitty Accents Punch.
  • (I see a piece of Vellum scrap got stuck on my scan,  That wasn’t part of the design!)
