I am so excited about our new Spring Catalog. It goes “live” on January 3. All of the products in this catalog will be available from January 3 until May 31, 2013. You can view the catalog through my website or you can also view the catalog through Google catalogs on your iPad or Droid device.
Of course, I’ve been playing with some of the products in the catalog. You will be using them in the Stamp Camps scheduled for January 18th or January 19th, 2013. The camps are a great way to actually touch and create with these new items.
Also keep in mind the beginning of my Stamp Club starting in February. Everyone is welcome to attend a club meeting (giving me advance notice, of course, so I have everything prepped for you) and can pay a $10 club fee or make a product purchase of $50 and receive the club for free. Those of you who are actually club members and have committed to the $50 product order for the duration of the club will also have the opportunity to receive hostess benefits. Call or e-mail me for all of the details.
Now for the card I made using the Sizzlit S Pinwheel die for the Big Shot from the Spring catalog. It took me a few times playing with the die to figure out the easiest way to make the pinwheel, but I think I have it now. Those of you attending the club in February will get a chance to make a few and get a feel for this new die.
I used some of the retired Berry Blossoms Designer Series Paper for my pinwheel, and this is a great card to use those older papers that you loved but need to move out of your creating space. The circles are the 2″ circle from the Circle #2 die. I used the same paper for the circles. I loved keeping it simple
The card base is Wisteria Wonder, and the sentiment comes from the very versatile Sassy Salutations stamp set. It was stamped in Wisteria Wonder ink on the Whisper White card stock. The coordinating ribbon is the 3/8″ Ruffled Ribbon in Calypso Coral. The ribbon was attached after I adhered the two circles to the Whisper White card stock. Then this entire piece was placed on the card base. I also used the 1-3/4″ Scallop Circle Punch (punching from Whisper White card stock) and the 1-3/8″ Circle Punch (punching from Wisteria Wonder card stock), to which I adhered the pinwheel using Mini Glue Dots, and then adhered the entire pinwheel piece to the card using Dimensionals.
I’m looking forward to seeing you in 2013!
