Make a Cake

I’ve been diligently working on finishing up leftover already-cut cardstock from all of my previous Stamp Camps and Card Buffets. Some of you might recognize the layout on this card. The original was an anniversary card with hearts and love birds on it. I decided that my stockpile of those type of cards was sufficient, so I pulled out my new stamp set, Make a Cake, and thought I would go with a birthday theme.

Here is my re-designed card! I kept all the same elements and simply stamped a different image and greeting and added butterflies instead of hearts.

I’m pretty sure I don’t need to do the how-to on this card. I used retired ribbon and a retired hostess stamp set for the greeting. Even though I have the Make a Cake set in Clear Mount, I still pulled out my Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up my cake. I just love that little tool! Since I would be coloring with markers, I decided that the Black Staz-On was the best ink for the job. Thanks for looking!
